Speech Therapy
River provides a comprehensive initial evaluation, throughly assessing speech and language skills to identify areas of concern and tailor an individualized treatment plan for your child. Then she provides engaging and evidence-based speech therapy sessions on a weekly basis along with daily home program exercises or activities. Typically, the course of therapy is completed within 6 months to 1 year (approximately 25-50 sessions).

Myofunctional Therapy
Orofacial myofunctional therapy (“myo”) focuses on the optimal function of muscles and structures in the mouth and face. Addressing issues like:
Tongue-tie and/or lip-ties
Tongue thrust swallow pattern
Thumb or finger sucking habits
Mouth breathing
Snoring or sleep disordered breathing
Orthodontic relapse
This specialized therapy aims to enhance overall oral health, breathing, and facial harmony. Take the first step towards a balanced and functional orofacial system with River’s expert guidance. The course of treatment is typically completed within 3 months (approximately 12-16 sessions).

Articulation Screenings
Identifying any articulation challenges early on is key to fostering effective communication skills in your child. A screening is not an evaluation, but a snapshot of your child's articulation skills to see if they are developmentally on track or further evaluation is needed. River will quickly assess your children’s speech sound development then consult with the parent about next steps and referrals to other professionals.

IEP Consultation
Navigating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) can be complex, especially for parents seeking the best support for their child. With experience in the elementary and preschool settings, River helps create effective IEPs, ensuring that the child receives the necessary support for academic success.
River provides consultation sessions to parents to get clarity on the IEP process and feel supported. She meets and collaborates with a variety school-based professionals for a team-based approach.
Pricing:
Parent Consultation Session (30 minutes) - $60
School Staff Collaboration Meeting (30 minutes) - $70
IEP Meeting Attendance - $200/hour
Language Enriched Play Sessions
River provides communication focused play sessions that ensures your child's language development is nurtured with expert care. Through play-based activities and tailored interactions, she creates a language rich environment, fostering communication skills in the office. Parent Coaching
River provides convenient in-home parent coaching and brings the expertise of a speech language pathologist directly to you. During personalized sessions, River observes your child in their natural environment routines, then consults with the parent(s) creating goals and offering tailored recommendations for effective communication strategies.
